You've probably seen advice to "repurpose" or "reuse" your content. Here's how I repurposed content to help market a conference, a new ebook, and a new service.
I need to work on my repurposing systems. One place I plan to start soon is LinkedIn. Got a bit out of the groove of publishing regularly here so as I get back into it I'm going to add in LinkedIn. Enjoyed reading about your experiences repurposing, especially the pre-AI blog to ebook adventure.
I really might’ve maimed someone for genAI circa 2012 or so :)
I need to get the “system” out of my head and into reality. One tip that’s been great for me for repurposing is to turn Claude or GPT loose on your entire corpus of work with a prompt of “find the common threads and write some stuff” (the real one is longer, but I can’t find it at the moment).
I’ve found it’ll pull some stuff out that you half-know and one or two things that are like, “well, shit, I had no idea but this is really good.”

I've had Claude mine all my posts, articles, transcripts, etc. I still become the bottleneck on the repurposing bit since I still find a need to second-guess and quibble over every word.
LOL, I am not immune from that either, though I've gotten better and better at "it's good enough, just push the fucking button" over the years. Still . . . sometimes, I twiddle and fiddle.
