Morning pages from The Artist's Way, provide the perfect place to "twaddle" on the page. I absolutely love free writing. ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

I love Morning Pages and starting to do them again - and going to finish the rest of the damn book over the next few weeks this year!

I find that the noodling I do in Morning Pages is usually stuff I'll want burned upon my death whereas the prompts from a Stream of Consciousness Prompt are often pure fun and fancy.

Both essentially navel-gazing twaddle, but different types of twaddle :)

Yep. My daughters gasped when I got rid of two boxes of journals that were full of morning pages. Once Iโ€™ve written then, their work is done and they can go become food for worms!

2 boxes!!!!!! Wow. I'm up to two notebooks, working on a third! Need to find the balance between page size and ruling - depending on the notebook, 3 pages is just too long!

OK, so 2 boxes because Iโ€™ve done MPs for 20 years. Try regular black and white composition notebooks (college ruled, of course!) They are the perfect size to whip through 3 pages of longhand in less than 30 minutes.

Yeah, I think those are my next step. I got a 3 pack of hard back notebooks from costco, but might use the last one for regular notes, especially since it's a buck versus 6 bucks!
